11.1 Sharing Dashboards and Panels

IDMP makes it easy to share visualizations with colleagues without requiring them to recreate the same configuration. Both dashboards and individual panels can be shared directly from the visualization interface.

Sharing a Dashboard​

A dashboard can be shared so that another user can open and view the same layout of panels, time ranges, and configurations. To share a dashboard, open it and use the Share option in the dashboard toolbar. IDMP generates a shareable link or allows you to copy the dashboard configuration.

Sharing a Panel​

Individual panels can be shared or exported independently of their parent dashboard. Open the panel menu (the three-dot icon on the panel header) and select the share option.

Access Control​

Shared content is subject to IDMP's role-based access control. Recipients must have at least read access to the underlying elements and attributes to view live data in a shared dashboard or panel.
